Melbourne Sauna Guide compares bookable sauna and cold-plunge venues across metropolitan Melbourne. This is a selected directory, not a complete register or a ranking.

What earns a listing

A venue must advertise sauna or cold-plunge access to the public at a Melbourne location. We include dedicated wellness studios, bathhouses and bookable sauna experiences. We exclude equipment retailers, announced venues without confirmed opening, hotel guest-only facilities and gym facilities without verified casual access. Regional destination spas are outside this edition.

One record per venue

Branches appear separately when they have distinct locations and booking choices. Shared brands are identified in our research records. A suburb-targeted marketing page alone is not evidence of a branch.

Evidence and uncertainty

Profiles link official sources and show when they were checked. We distinguish a private room from an individual tub in a shared room, and a sauna-only ticket from a combined booking. When sources disagree, we say so; missing information stays unknown. Published facilities are not independently inspected, and we do not repeat marketing claims about medical benefits.

Prices and ordering

Listings are alphabetical, with no paid positions. Prices describe a particular session and its conditions, rather than a comparable market rate. Confirm current availability, eligibility, cancellation terms and total price before paying.

Images and updates

Official provider brand graphics and operator-published images identify each venue. Credits appear with images; inclusion does not imply partnership. Prices and booking conditions are due for fortnightly review, venue status monthly and full evidence quarterly. Corrections identified during review are recorded and checked against official sources.
